The Mid-South OTI Education Center offers the Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer Program to Region VI, which authorizes trainers to conduct OSHA Outreach courses focused on the recognition, avoidance, abatement and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces.
Five years of construction safety experience. A college degree in occupational safety and health, a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation, in the applicable training area may be substituted for a total of two years of experience.
Five years of general industry safety experience. A college degree in occupational safety and health, a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation, in the applicable training area may be substituted for a total of two years of experience.
